A vibrant early 19th Century Swedish giltwood console pier table.
The Carrara marble top with carved frieze of foliate moulding and stylised fish scales. Raised on a resting Griffin in a proud stance with spread wings, a plume of feathers above and twist supports to the rear. Terminating in an ebonised plinth base. 
Circa 1830, Stockholm made. In excellent original condition. Very stylish design and would work well in lots of different interiors.
