George IV well carved mahogany console table. The egg and dart moulded back above a grey and white veined marble top. The bold acanthus carved frieze with concealed drawers to either end, on turned and gadrooned supports with fluted pilasters to the rearms. Raised on a shaped plinth base with moulded edge. Provenance: Earl Spencer, Althorp Hall, contents sale 1963. Supplied with the last owners purchase invoice from 1997.
