A large 19th Century country house oak hall bench, with an arched panelled back and central carved cartouche and pierced splats. Flanked with knopped finials and roundels, above arms adorned with repeating finials and roundels on block corners and spiral supports. The seat with carved egg and dart moulding
The whole is raised on repeating spiral legs, with turned ball feet. Good colour and patina. circa 1840
