An engraved Rolls Royce Carrara marble floor plaque set into a bespoke, ebonised centre table. A fantastic piece of automobilia history. The marble floor plaque, centred with the iconic Rolls Royce Spirit of Ecstasy mascot, was originally laid into the floor of the entrance to the famous Rolls Royce Conduit Street showroom in 1929. This was part of a refurbishment to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Rolls Royce Ltd.

46" diameter x 30 1/4" high

The origins of the mascot came about when Baron Montagu commisioned Charles Sykes to create a sculpture of Montagu's secret lover (Eleanor Velasco Thornton) for his new 1909 Silver Ghost. This sculpture later evolved into the car company's famous mascot.
