Regency mahogany hall table in the manner of Gillow. The top with carved acanthus corners and centre and gadrooned edge, with bead and reel to the frieze. Raised on tapering fluted column, carved lotus leaf and gadrooned collars to the centre and acanthus carving to the base, supporting a shaped tier in the middle, plain pilasters to the rear. All above a moulded plinth base. Wonderful colour and flame timber throughout. A bold and stylish piece, usable in different rooms around the home. Circa 1830. In excellent condition.
